How this happened
It’s a tale as cliché as time. I watched Heated Rivalry about gay hockey, read Rachel Reid’s books about gay hockey, and before I knew it, six months had passed and I had read 240 gay hockey romances. I know very little about hockey and even less about romance novels. I learned about the “third act breakup” in March 2026, on Reddit. Nevertheless, I decided it was a good idea to start sharing my gay hockey romance thoughts with the world. Here we go.
